Easter

Easter started with Brady opening his Easter basket from Mom & Dad. It will filled with Thomas the Tank Engine stuff, a Spot book, a mini Magna Doodle, and shirt to wear with his swim trunks. Then we headed to church with  Troy's family. We made it through about 20 minutes before he got squirmy so we headed outside to the playground until communion.
Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa P's for Easter basket #2 and lunch. Brady has his first measurement on the family growth chart.

He loves Grandma & Grandpa's dog. Thankfully she doesn't mind him either.

Then we jumped in the car and headed to Grandma and Grandpa J's for and Easter egg hunt,
Easter Basket #3 and dinner.

Ears

We are now on our 3rd ear infection since late February. Every once in a while we get a peek at the happy normal Brady, but mostly he has a short fuse, doesn't want to nap, and has disgusting amounts of ear wax. Our pediatrician recommended we try a new antibiotic and if this doesn't work he will refer us to a ENT to discuss tubes.

I think the dreaded transition from 1 to 2 naps is happening. Naps seem to be hit or miss lately. Always a miss on days I need to look showered.

He has become quite active and LOVES being outside. I have been horrible at taking pictures lately, but I did manage to capture a few outside this afternoon.

13 months

Brady has recently discovered how much he loves his Grandparents. Here he is bonding with Grandpa Jer last weekend.

Molar

Brady has been a crab this week and I thought it could be a teething issue. The bump on his cheek confirmed this morning that he is getting his first molar.

Lately we have been spending a lot of time looking out the patio door longing to go outside.

Now that Brady is walking he doesn't stop moving. He figured out how to go down stairs now so we go up and down all day. Troy taught him how to go down the slide at the indoor play area and he LOVES it. He went down no less than 30 times Sunday. He has been sick this week with his 1st ear infection, and even that hasn't slowed him down.

He definitely has an opinion about things-especially books. We started giving him options and he is more than happy to let you know which book he wants. He then crawls up on my lap and will sit for as long as I will read.

Walking

Brady took his first unassisted steps over the weekend. Of course, I missed it because I was in Chicago, but Troy managed to get some video.
